WHAT IS QUEERIDA
Queerida Is Not a Feeling. It names a way of relating that emerges after domination is refused.
QUEERIDA IN PRACTICE
Consent as ongoing, presence without possession, it allows relationship to be dynamic, not fixed
RETURN PATH TO LLORONEQUIS
Before ethical love is possible,
grief must be allowed to move.
FROM QUERIDA TO QUEERIDA
Queerida is derived from the Spanish word querida—beloved, dear one, cherished.
Historically, querida has been used to name intimacy, affection, and attachment, often within romantic or familial frames. But these frames were shaped by colonial norms that narrowed belovedness—restricting who could be loved openly, whose love was legitimate, and what forms of attachment were permitted..
Queerida in practice expands this inheritance.

WHY QUEERIDA WAS NECESSARY
Colonial modernity taught love as:
ownership
hierarchy
obligation
sacrifice without consent
These logics shaped:
romance
family
citizenship
gender
land relations
Love became a tool of containment.
Queerida interrupts this inheritance.

By queering querida, Queerida releases belovedness from confinement to:
heterosexual romance
possession-based intimacy
private or sanctioned forms of love.Queerida names belovedness as relational ethic, not ownership
QUEERIDA NAMES A DIFFERENT LOGIC
Queerida is:
relational without possession
intimate without capture
devoted without domination
tender without erasure
It does not ask who belongs to whom.
It asks how do we remain in right relation.
QUEERNESS AS ETHICAL DISRUPTION
Queerida is queer not only in sexuality or identity,
but in structure.
It refuses:
binary roles
fixed scripts
compulsory futures
inherited norms of attachment
Queerida is about how we hold one another—
not who we are allowed to love.
QUEERIDA AND RESPONSIBILITY
Love without responsibility reproduces harm.
Responsibility without tenderness reproduces control.
Queerida insists on both.
Responsibility here means:
consent
accountability
mutual care
the freedom to change
BELOVEDNESS WITHOUT LIMITATION
In Queerida, belovedness extends to:
-queer love and queer kinship
-chosen family
-community and collective connections
-land, water, cosmos, ancestors, and non-human life
Love is not narrowed by category.
It is guided by responsibility, consent, and care.
Queerida holds queer love explicitly—not as exception, but as teacher—because queer relationality has long practiced love outside sanctioned scripts, revealing how intimacy can exist without domination.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Colonial modernity taught love through hierarchy:
who may be beloved
how love must look
what attachments are legitimate
Queerida refuses these limits.
It asks not who is allowed to be loved,
but how do we love without harm.
QUEERIDA AS CONTINUATION
Where querida names affection,
Queerida names an ethic of belovedness—
for all beings, all relations, all forms of life we touch.
It is love widened,
not diluted.
LLORONEQUIS
Queerida does not bypass grief.
It depends on it.
Before ethical love is possible,
grief must be allowed to move.
This is the work of Lloronequis.
Where Lloronequis restores emotional flow,
Queerida shapes how we relate once that flow returns.
